short circuit?? :(
short circuit?? :(
my FD starts really getting on my nervs...i fix 1 thing and the next one comes up, or like now, haven fixed 1 and heres the next one..
basically wanted to test my boost(again - still got massive boost leak
)
just went around the roundabout and the wire that was connected to my horn snapped(was too short i think and when i was turning..well just snapped) and my car started constantly beeping..couldnt turn it off bgut it stopped itself after few seconds, since then i have no horn(just re-attached the wire again) and my indicators dont work
i can hear the clicks but neither green arrows inside or indicators outside dont work...my radio,front lights, dash and other electical stuff works fine..
ideas?

if you hear the clicks, it sounds like it is further from the steering area. the clicks are a little plug-in thing that interrupts the power on and off, so that must mean they are getting power to them. you will just have to get a multimeter and start testing, look in the FSM for wiring help.
for the boost leak just get a leak tester or make one, its very simple. all you need is a pipe to block off the end where the turbo connects with a tire valve in it and force pressurized air into the intake tract. where ever you hear air leaking is where the problem is.

did u check all the fuses? what have you been doing in the coloum area that there is a wire not a clock-spring for the horn?? do the head lights work? do you have tail lights?? i would check the 15amp tail fuse that is for the control side of the tns relay
possible problems
check all fuses sometimes you can short one thing out and its not related to other components and cause a fuse to blow there...like they say it sounds further than the horn wire but its a place to start...i think the beeping is nore sensor related but electrical is crazy sometimes....good luck..
