Shooting flames when MAP sensor hose comes off?

I've never seen such a thing and I'm running a DP, CB with the stock cat. I was following my son and I heard the typical map-sensor-hose-fell off popping and snorting and it was shooting flames like crazy. Not a mod I recommend but I thought I'd share. Anyone ever shoot flames with a stock cat?

Zip that thing on man, you don't want it to come off.

It's pretty stupid how short they made that hose. It barely stretches. I had it zip-tied before and after the filter, and on the sensor fitting and it still pops off sometimes. I'm going to extend it with a fitting or move the maps sensor closer to the middle of the firewall.

Have you ever considered taking off the UIM and installing a longer hose? You may want to look into it.

I didn't shoot them like w/out a cat you can....but you could see the blue flame popping in my Borla can
I broke my alternator belt so I had to boost home before my battery completely died. So, my friend was following me as a 'plan B' and he told me.

Surprisingly I still had my pre-cat, cat and a Borla cat-back.

So you and your son have FD's?
