c-west headlight conversion, $620?!

Check this out... I was just browsing around and found this site that makes a c-west headlight conversion replica and sells for $620. Just thought I'd spread the find to everyone on here...

http://www.raceonusa.com/index.asp?P...PROD&ProdID=90

PS, sorry if this is a repost.

you also have to spend like $400 extra to get the catz foglights that go in them. they neglect to tell you that. those are actually just the importfan.com ones, being resold under a different name

I just called RACEONUSA and spoke to George. He stated that the kit does come with the four Catz foglights and is from the same mold as the C-West kit that sells for $1200+. I was told that he would knock off $20.00 if we could buy 10 sets. Importfan had the knockoffs on back order for at least 6 months! He said that he has a bunch of sets coming in wednesday but he aint getting my money until he says that he has them in stock. Anyone down for picking up a great set of knockoffs at half the price?

I will have to give them a call in the near future.

I'm already involved on two other GB's and combined with other car bills so I can't afford them right now. ;(

I already have a set of East Bear's conversion, or I would be in that group buy. I just thought I'd pass on that price.

Anyone know what the weight difference is in the stock headlights vs. the C-Wests? Counting the motor you can remove as well.

I'm interested in doing this but not until probably September. New FD and too many things to work on (my priorities are rubber->metal or silicon, simplify engine compartment (a whole bunch of stuff and where the light conversion comes in), PFC).

Why would anyone put that damn print on their car much less a pic of it? What a fugly car with the print running accross the car and the hood and front dam being colored grey to match the print.

This car might look good if they paid for their own site which allowed the whole car to be red?

I would be interested, but how much do they want for shipping. Probably some crazy price.

actually shipping was reasonable from that site unlike the ebay sites which were ridiculously priced for shipping.

$20 off for 10? Thats all?

Can anyone that actually bought a set like this tell us about the quality? I just don't trust knockoff quality. 600 bucks is still alot of money to me.

be careful buying knockoff brand items for your car. fitament can become a serious issue. i bought a dp off ebay, and an easy bolt on job turned into a lot of work and some fabrication.

I don't like the way they look on red cars, that why I have never bought a set.
