My shifter moves up and down If i pull up on it(like a inch or so). I was doing some searching and found, as i suspected, there is a bushing in there that I need to replace.
well mazdacomp makes an aluminum one for like 10$
I was planning to replace the whole shifter with a B&M pretty soon. Will I need this bushing in the B&M or does it have one?

Is there any reason not to get the aluminum bushing over the stock plastic one?
Will the aluminum one rattle?
Has anyone with a B&M needed to use this bushing?

check your PPF becuase when it cracks or breaks the shufter will go up and down. good luck
