shift **** replaced

I finally got tired of the ripped leather cover on my 5-speed shift ****. Thanks to G Goodman for parts number and Mazdatrix for scrounging the parts network in the US, so I would not have to set foot in a Mazda dealer parts department. According to Mazdatrix, there was only one factory replacement shift **** in the entire USA. At *only* $140.00 it was a bargain. At least now I have that warm, smooth, textured, firm feel in the palm of my hand again.

Wow, only $140? Glad I kept mine in the "spares" bin instead of chucking it.

I replaced mine with the Voodo polished aluminum **** for Miatas - screws right on.

It's excellent except when it gets hot from sitting in the sun. I made an insulated Ultrasuede "sock" to cover it which of course matches my seats.

I got my replacement OEM **** from Malloy earlier this year. ($97). It was salty, but I agree it's all worth it. Having a new **** and leather boots makes the interior look a lot better.

It makes shifts almost self-erotic
