She Lives!!!!!!!

So, i blew the secondary turbo in november. Waited awhile on parts, got everything all back together, broke a few bolts off, had to swap out my water pump housing, ended up breaking some wires for the omp, and the housing didnt seat right and leaked all over. so long story short, its been hell.

But, i finished today, soldered up those broke wires and taped them up nicely, got the pump housing to seat properly and had a blast driving in this nice weather today. man have i missed her.

All of you follow my lead and get your 7's back together, spring is comming.

Yeah, you can never replace that feeling getting that baby back on line. Sometimes I like it better driving that FD than being with the other!

Good to hear that beast is back on the road.

i drove for 3 hours today. for no reason. i just drove. and drove. and put some more gas in her and drove some more. drove around the 3 neighboring cities. drove to my college. i only stopped driving because i ran out of places to go. it was amazing. I completely forgot how fast that car is. 310 rwhp ftmfw. ive been driving my 85 rx7 gsl. 12a with like 90 hp. so the power is nice to have back again.

Mine has been down and out for quite some time (upwards of 6months now...) but the moment of truth may finally be here! Car should be done in hopefully a few weeks to a month! I'm so excited...

Congrats. Since I have had mine, my biggest fear has been racking up too many miles as I like driving it so much. Have fun!

Mine has been sitting since I got her (7 months ago). Had to swap motors and just rebuilt the harness, gotta plug everything back in now. She was spitting exhaust smoke out of the intake and if she'd fire at all, she would run sooo rough.

+1 to that dude, i am very excited about getting my car up and running within a week or 2. its been down since december because its currently going thru a rebuild phase.

nonetheless, every week i go visit and hang with the specialist i can't help but feel excited when i see the work thats going into it. the car ran like a monster with all the serious flaws it had on the engine (id rather not list the atrocities....)

i cannot help myself when i let off a sinister grin at the thought of doing pulls on it after the break-in period/dyno tune. not a day goes by where i dont find myself day dreaming about driving it again. the red beast is dormant, but spring is coming and the summer nights that follow after will allow me plenty of time to catch up on old times with it.
