Sequential turbo spooling character

Hi Guys, this it the first time im posting on this forum and obviously i tried to search for more information but i couldn’t find.

After some time checking and getting to know how the oem sequential system works just wanted to know maybe if it makes sense that the more boost you run one the primary turbo the more ‘laggy’ the transition is due to the precontrol actuator flowing less volume when it opens(As the primary is pumping more volume to the engine).
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

I'm no expert on the subject, my understanding is that the precontrol actuator only opens a passage in the exhaust to the secondary turbo between 3500RPM-4500RPM.

Increasing the boost pressure from the primary would likely proportionally increase the exhaust flow going to the secondary when the pre-control is open. I don't know that the primary pumping more air "takes away" flow to the secondary with higher boost.
