Sequential System upgrade update to 99 P Spec

Pettit has this listed as an upgrade they can do for you...

What does this entitle? It's $399.

Anyone do this?

399 sounds like a good deal for all the work.

But that was my question.....

What work? What do they do? What is this upgrade and what does it entitle? What are the benefits?

Can you link the information? I don't see anything about it on their site.

I talked to Cam about it. They take the Valve cover off and do some vacuum hose work.

I have not talked to him in detail yet. I just thought I would post about it for more info before I do.

Perhaps they install a 99+ rats nest, which comes in one big block. I'm not sure it's worth all that much to me - the solenoids inside look the same.

Do you think that is what Pettit is talking about?

I would pay $399 just to see them remove the valve cover and put it back on

Might not be bad. My FD is currently at a rotary shop who is trying to figure out why I'm not getting good boost in the secondary. So far he has found that two of the solenoids were not installed correctly. It probably happened in 2006 when another shop in VA did a tie wrap job for a prior owner. Having a simplified rats nest and that solenoid block would be pretty nice if that had to be taken apart again.

Must get killer deals on engine harnesses over there......and if anything, the 96+ black box appears more unreliable!

P-trim? Although for the money, would want that just to remove them.
