Sequential Shifter.

Has anyone ever heard of or tried one of these sequential shifters? I don't understand how it could work with a stock transmission but I don't know all that much about transmissions to begin with. I just wanted to see what anyone thought about this. Thanks, scott

There are a series of gears and levers inside if the unit. From what I understand, it interprets your linear up-down shifts , and then physically moves the shifter in the gated sequence for you.

Pretty cool device.. it also moves the shifter way up by where you are holding the wheel, so less "hands-off" time.

Old product.... Its been around for a while. I have never seen anyone running it.. $1400 is a little pricey for it though..

From what i read somewhere, it tears up your gears/syncros. Anyone have any concrete info on that?

No solid info even though I heard that too. Since the shifter goes off hoses and cables, and leaves even more room for error and not a perfect shift..
