Sequential gurus I need your help
I have a question about this set up. I know you’re supposed to bypass both the Wastegate and Turbo Precontrol solenoids and replace the hoses with the pills with the adjustable valves.
My question is when do these solenoids (WG & TC) normally turn on and off? And where do they get their pressure from. Do the WG and TC solenoids trigger the opening and closing of the actuators? Or are the actuators opened and closed from the air running though the lines with the pills in it?
Basically, I’m trying to get a deeper understanding of how this setup actually works. Any info is greatly appreciated.

The picture is misleading. The pressure feed line comes from the primary compressor housing and is not visible in the drawing. In the picture, it looks like the line is coming off the actuators.
The WG and PC solenoids are controlled by the ECU just as if they came from the factory. I don't know the cycle rates for them, but I'm guessing they are set to allow the actuators to bleed off for the first few milliseconds to allow boost to build.
The TC solenoid has nothing to do with this setup.

Pressure. Since the source is right at the beginning of the pressurized side the compressor, the pressure feeds through the boost control, pushing the actuator springs and opening the doors. It's duty controlled, as spooledup7 said, so the ECU bleeds off pressure as necessary to prevent overboost and also to respond to partial throttle.
