Question To sell, or Not to sell the FD

my head has cleared up a little from last week. I was so angry I lost the motor in just a few months. and said I would fix it and sell it but would like to here from others. Do I sell my FD or do I give it yet another chance to redeem itself.

Rebuild it but keep it stock or lightly modded and then enjoy the car.

I've learned that the moment your heart goes out of the car, it's all downhill from there. The second you start to think about selling it you will never look at it the same again.

Be commited to the car. It will repay you with an experience that you can only get from the FD.

Yea I'm with them. Rebuild it and do the reliability mods. Can't go wrong with that.

So we are voting "to sell, or not to sell the FD." Wouldn't the answer have to be yes, because you will definately either sell it, or not sell it.

forget it. I'm done with the rotary. Damage report scored rear rotor housing and rear plate, apex seals gone, side seals cracked, rear rotor damaged. turbo survived by a miracle. pics to come. almost fainted when I saw the damage. this car is a heart & spirit breaker.

Don't be such a woose, It's only money.

If you buy another toy, I'm betting that it will cost more than trading in or selling your FD, vs. putting in a most excellent engine built to your specification by some one who knows what they are doing. Then you will know what you have and have it in a chassis that you already know and lived with.

Hey man listen... all i got to say is SELL IT!!!!

I made probably the best decision of my life to part with my 93fd...

That car is not meant for everyone... since selling my car i've been able to focus much better at work... I've made almost 30grand more this year.. (which kinda sucks cause if i still had the car i'd be able to put a single turbo on it etc etc..)

I used the money from the sale of the car and used it as a down payment for a beautiful home.

The fd rx7 is a beatuiful car, but its more pain then pleasure... Its probably the most notoriously known sports car... I'd rather drive my car than have it in the shop... booooo sell it trust me you'll get over it in about 3 months.

Slap the engine back together and send it in as a core for a reman motor. Get the reman installed and then sell the car.
