I say sell the car. At the end of theday it's just that, a car. If you want a different one that doesn't give you trouble you have plenty of others to choose from. As others have put it, you could use that money for something else as well.

I don't see anything wrong with you wanting to do whatever you want with your money/possessions. If I were you I'd probably fix it but seeing how you consider it a source of misery you're probably better off getting rid of it.

If it hurts then stop doing it!

I love my car but if it blows up again in the near future, I'm gonna rip it's unforgiving heart out and replace it with another that loves back.

That actually would be a good solution if you really love your FD.

Sell all rotary related parts and that should equal to about 30, possibly 40% of the cost for the complete LSx conversion.

bah - not in a million years. I vote a big NO!

Unless the car is stolen or caught in a major fire... we're ****** married until the end mates! Then again, there are some FD's that I just dont feel `right` in. thankfully I have had two that felt like a great fit.
