Self polishing+ bordem ahead!

So yeah.
I have been VERY bored and had a spare FD rx7 upper intake manifold, throttle body, charge pipes, alternator, and Y pipe laying around in the shop.

I did all of this with a 6" portercable sander, 120-220-360-600-1000 grit paper, aluminum polish, some red rugue (spelling?), and my stand bufffer. I am still waiting for a 3" air sander to finish the UIM and throttle body.



I figure its not the best but not bad for being bored around the shop for a few hours.

I get a wild hair every now and then to do this, then I get all gray and my finger cramp and my back hurts, then I take the **** over to James house and let him do it. He's more than reasonable and I like th way it comes out. Great job on what you've done. Let me know if your feeling bored again as I still have some stuff to finish. Jack

I played around with a thermostat housing last night just cleaning it up and knocking off a few casting lines (getting it ready to take to James) and my hands still hurt and feel like there going to cramp. I really envy you having the patience to do this kind of work. The end result (your work) should be very satisfying as it looks great. I'll post some more pictures of the stuff I get back from James. I'm dropping off a LIM, Auto-thermostat housing and a TB. Keep up the good work, Jack
