self-healing?
so... i had to go up to pittsburgh (from baltimore this weekend) 330 miles there and another 330 back... well at my parent's house (pittsburgh) when i started my car up, it sounded like it farted... kinda a brraappapapapp sounding noise. i was a little worried at the moment, but it seemed like it was running fine so i just went for broke and drove it home. the weird thing is that prior to the fart, i'd been getting 15-18mpg no matter where i was driving or how i was driving, this includes the 330 there. now, on the 330 back i got 24.9mpg and driving it around town have been getting the same. don't get me wrong i'm NOT complaining at all... i'm just wondering what that fart could have been. my primary seems like its pulling harder now too. i have a much more "linear" feeling acceleration where as before there was a huge kit when the secondary came on-line.
any ideas on what could have happened or had been wrong with it to begin with? i have a slight misting oil spray from the primary into my IC pipes... maybe i should clean them and see if somehow it stopped doing that who knows. by misting i mean it might be spraying an ounce or two of oil every 2500 miles.

BOOOYAHHHH!
maybe a plug had carbon built up.. and that fart was the carbon burning off causeing a miss?!? dunno man.
that would explain better gas milage. and more liniar power.

Its not hard to foul plugs in just over 2k miles. In fact when i put my single turbo on, i had to change my plugs after about 1k miles.
I was told once, that cars never fix themselves. Its when the problem goes away, when you have to really start worrying
