Angry searching for boost prob?

Ok, i can't get above 7psi of boost. I bought my FD about 2 wks ago and it was only making 7psi. Thought it would be an easy fix, HA! It had a pfs dp and catback as well as tie wrap job. Since i had to check all hoses etc. anyway i put in the pfs intake and intercooler and replaced all couplings hoses. Still only 7psi. Went to non seq yesterday, still only 7psi. I am about to do the manual boost controller (while i check for the pills anyway) now that i am non seq, do i do anything to the precontrol or just leave it as is? Thanks to everyone, can't wait for full boost!!

i am not sure what you mean? If you are referring to the 2 under the presure chamber, i didn't unplug either, i capped the vacuum lines thought during the non-seq. conversion. I am using the pre-control now but i am about to switch to the wastegate.

yeah, that's what i meant. if you switch them(which some people do) then you will only see 7-8psi. try the wastegate and let me know how it works out. nick
