OK fellas here goes. I have a ticking sound eminating from somewhere under the hood. It increases in intensity and volume as RPMs increase. Its louder under acceleration than deceleration. Its not the plug wires (replaced those). Its not any of the accessories (removed both belts and it still makes the noise). There is no power loss accompanying the sound. My only thought is that it might be the exaust gasket for the downpipe or a exhaust leak near that area. Anybody have that problem before? Thanks

You can move the throttle linkage by hand and listen. It does sound like a leaky exhaust gasket though. I'ts a good idea to snug up the downpipe nuts anyhow, especially soon after installation.
