Searched :S Need part number...
Hey guys, I tried searching (not working) and checking my service manuals but I wasn't able to find the part number for a DP to cat gasket. I just need the mazda part number for the regular 3" one. Thanks a lot in advance if you have any idea. -Joe (ps - I know rx7store has them cheap but I need it pretty fast and I figured mazda would do)

yeah that's my last resort. I'm in Canada and I figure by the time rx7store ships it, it'll be a while (plus the expense of a $7 part being shipped here). If I get it from the local mazda dealership they usually get parts within a few days and there aren't any shipping charges.

thanks Mahjik, but same thing...just comes down to time and cost of shipping. I don't mind paying a bit extra if it can be shipped fast...but would prefer local pick-up. Anyone else have any idea for the part number?

thanks Mahjik maybe I'll see how long it takes to ship one out. I didn't have time to call the dealership today but I'll try them first tomorrow and go from there.

ok new news - I found out the part number for the gasket. It's part number 40-305 & 40-305A...but apparently it lists it as made out of asbestos? I thought most gaskets were made out of metal and I've been touching the old gasket, in fact it's in my kitchen (not anymore though). I'd rather have a gasket made out of metal. Anyhow I have another question now - do you guys know the part numbers for the studs and bolts for the DP to turbo assembly? I'm thinking the bolts are part# 40-355B...I can't find the number for the studs though. Any help?

wow that was easy enough - found the number for the studs too for anyone wondering in the future. The part# is 13-5071 / NF01-13-708A (for 5).

Here's the follow-up on how things went for the downpipe install. Also, I found a good exhaust gasket at a nearby exhaust shop the next day so it all worked out well.
