searched but couldn't find anyone who fixed my probem...low secondary boost...

ok, i'm running on a stock sequential twin set up, only a few emmisions eliminated, have a dp/mp combo i'm waiting for a friend to help me put on. changed my check valves and vacuum and pressure chambers appear to be holding. i've tried the road boost test in 2nd and 3rd and get the same results 10(or 11 occasionally)-5-5 ( sometimes if i'm lucky it creeps up to 6)...i've recently replaced the pc/wg solenoids and put on a known good tca actuator that a friend gave me....please help...i really want my car to run optimally...

There's only a handfull of things to check for.
1. CRV
2. CCA
3. TCA

And they're respective solenoids.

It's unlikely to be the CRV since you sometimes get full boost. The WG should not be the issue because then you would be losing boost in the primary also. And the PC shouldn't be it either because you would be able to make full boost all the time. So most likely it's either the CCV and the solenoid, or the solenoid for the TCA since you already replaced the TCA itself.

sounds like a boost leak or missing restrictor pill in the WG/TPCS line(s).

forgot to mention i've already checked the pills in the wg/tpc lines and tried venting the crv to the atmosphere and listening for air as i pass from 3500 to 4500 and didn't really hear anything of consequence...to my ears anyway...i'm baffled but thank you guys for responding, i'll see if i can check what y'all mentioned closer...i've also been wondering if maybe my precat is clogged around where the exhaust is suposed to flow out of the secondary turbo preventing it from spooling up....does this sound logical to anyone?

If your cats are clogged it shouldn't randomly boost and not boost it would be constant

well it's rather consistant, 10 on primary and drops to 5 when secondary is supposed to come online, i sometimes get 1 extra psi on the secondary but very rarely....i was just curious if it was possible that somehow the precat had some stuff clogged up just where the secondary flows or if it would have to clog the primary as well if that were the problem.....if i'm off base here then so be it...it was just an idea i was hoping for since i already have a dp/mp ready to put on...haha

So hold on, you're talking about the pre-cat in the downpipe? Or the main-cat in the midpipe?

If you still have the stock downpipe with the pre-cat, then yeah you definitely need to change that asap.

Idk if it is for sure, but it's one of the possibilities. You'll find it difficult to find anyone on the forums with a stock downpipe because it creates an excessive amount of heat and they do get clogged, especially with the amount of mileage they have nowadays.

Where are you in NC? Check the hose leading to the CCV they can crack and be very hard to see. I had the same problem and it was the back 90 degree hose leading to the CCV right by the DP.

I sort of have the same problem..only sometimes though.. really annoying. I think it's the vacuum hoses in the rats nest. I'm about to change them all out.
