scuff plates
Where can I get some metal scuff plates for my FD? I remember reading about a group buy back in the day for some black anodized plates with a silver stock looking RX-7 logo. I also wouldn't mind buying a set of stainless plates; however, I'm trying to avoid the gold lettering. Please help me out.
thanks, Rob

Spoolin'- tried the link... great looking product, but IO couldn't get to a buy page. Any more links?
Wanklin- Try a dealer, if they're out, I might sell you mine, stil have plactic protectant over them, if I buy the cf ones. Think they were $80 each from dealer, special order.

more questions
how durable are the new satin finish aluminum plates at mazdaformance? I have read that the old-school aluminum ones used to scratch really easily.
I like the CF ones but the quality is questionable. There seems to be a gap where they should be seated and the edges look kind of rough. If that was just a prototype and the finished product resolves those issues I may go CF.

Carbon is soo overplayed imo. I have the metal ones and think they look very nice. The do scratch if you're not careful, but still look way better than the shitty stock plastic.

i totally agree with silver93tt, and the carbon fiber isnt as eye catching and shiny as the silver scuff plates. and really the gold on the scuff plates isnt that noticable, and shine up really well
