CO Scammer on CL, using someones car...

Just figured I'd put this up. 100% scam, the email is listed at various places as a scammster, as well as having the same ad all over the US.

Gorgeous looking rx-7, shame it isn't for sale in grand junction.

Figured the owner may be here, and may care to know his car is being used as a scam.

Btw, if there is a fella who owns an FD in Grand Junction, Black, with black wheels and a red lip/line on the wheels, saw the car today at a mexican joint. Very sharp looking car. Great paint and very clean.

Those ads pop up on craigslist constantly they're nothing new, craigslist usually does a decent enough job taking those ads down.

This happened to me when I was selling my R1 last summer. I had the bike on eBay and then everyone thought it was a scam because of these idiots.

I remember seeing ads exactly like this in 2005 when I was first looking at RX7's. Apparently some people are stupid enough to fall for it and law enforcement can't catch the guys. They found out that a vast majority of these scammers were actually government employees in some really poor African country. They were the only ones with access to computers, fax machines, and western union. I think it was Nigeria or something. But essentially in that country if they succeed in scamming you once for $2,000 then they are set for life and just retire lol
