Just show them pictures of the car before the accident and how much it meant to you. Show them all the receipts you have from work you did to the car. Get quotes from body shops on how much it would cost to fix it to how it was before the accident. Stress the issue of how much it would cost to replace and how hard it will be to replace it and let them know how much you need to make it all better and let them know you won't settle for less. Adventually you will work out a agreement. They had to send two different insurance adjusters to my house. The first low balled me bad so I stressed how he don't know about these cars and he is out of his mind and I want someone who knows about cars. Also they don't go by Kelly blue book but show them that anyway. Good Luck

good to see that the post from the person on this page is deleted already, i was coming back to comment on how it was the d-bag post of the day.
Keep us updated with the insurance company shenanigans. Hopefully they will give you full value and you can put it toward a new FD.
EDIT: This reminds me of a story that my dad told me about street racing where I go to school back when he was in school. He was in a cutlass supreme, the guy in front of him was in a Boss 302, and the guy behind him was in a Camaro SS. The Camaro SS passed him and dropped a wheel off the pavement. He had some Mickey Thompson wrinkle wall tires on the back end, and when he finally got the car back on the road, it snapped sideways and caught traction, launching them into the trees. You're not the only one that this has happened to. Good luck.

I dont see how that won't be a total. The strut tower brace is bent and it pushed the shock tower all the way into the intake pipe. I wouldn't say that is just cosmetic. Sad to see an AZ FD go down...glad no one was hurt!

Damn Tony, it sucks I already sold my roller. It would have been perfect for you and it would have stayed in Arizona. I hope you get the insurance sorted out in your favor.
