good luck to you sir. I'm in the same boat as you. One of my close friends just hit a kamazi rodent and the dude at the body shop said that because the fender was bad, it's not good. My prayers are for all 7's that have had bad things happen to them.

I know how you feel. I was in the same boat as you a while ago. Using new parts from Mazda, it doesn't take much to total these cars out (they want $1300 just for the intercooler). I decided to have it fixed, and bought most of the parts from members on the forums. I went with all new structural pieces and body panels, but got used misc items.
Here is the result:
It is now in better condition then when I bought it. The key is to find a shop that will do the work right, and make sure that they know how much it means to you.

Well youre alive and that what matters most
i know how u feel about losing the car, i wouldnt take it either
but be positive and start saving money to fix it or if its total lost start saving money to get a new one.
same insurance claims wouldnt bother i suppose. hehe

Did you get the info of the guy who cut you off and forced you off the road? I hope you bleed him for all he's worth! Nothing angers me more than people driving obliviously in their bimbo boxes and yank tanks, changing lanes without looking or indicating and then when you lay on the horn as you're run off the road they just keep on coming without any comprehension as to what they're doing. Sometimes you're lucky and there's enough of a breakdown lane and sometimes you're not. Can't count how many times that's happened to me. Good luck with the repairs and sorry for your loss
