S6 to S7 upgrades???

I was thinking about doing a S7(96-98) manifold swap with the simplified vacuum routing and the 16-bit ECU can this be done at what will I need also for reliblity/tune or should I just PFC stand alone instead of the 16-bit??? also my understanding of the 16-bit ECU is that it is only for updated boost maps?? is this true or are there small sensor differences??? P.S these are for JDM models as the mods are for a JDM S6(91-95). Thanks guys and I did search too bad most web browsers do not use Metadata headers!!!! so miss hits and locating are very unrelible.

Yes you "could" do it but it would be VERY expensive. My friend tried it and you have to replace pretty much the entire cars loom due to the wiring being configured differently. Save yourself some time and money and buy a PFC and be done with it or better yet get a microtech and do away with all the crap under the uim.
The only thing I can see happening at this stage if you swap over the uim to s7 is trouble.

Yeah after looking at JDM wiring diagrams I was thinking PFC would be better. I hate rewiring cars... well when they were not mine!!! P.S removing car starters after they caused issues sucks and common!!! Say no to car starters and yes to keys (sorry off topic rant) I am really more interested in the Manifold I have been looking at the JDM/AUS manuals and it looks like it is not to bad?? I just don't want to run into a YOU NEED THIS!!! problem.
