?'s on water pump pulley removal

I'm changing my water pump pulley and using the Greddy Pulley Kit. My question is, how do you remove the 4 bolts from the OEM pulley? Using an impact? If so. how do you prevent the pulley from moving? Seems like you have to hold the pulley tightly from going counterclockwise? Assistance appreciated.

if you use an impact you dont have to worry about it. but you shouldnt anyways, those arent usually too tight. put some tenstion on it with the belt, and hold it with your hand as well. should work wonders.

or wedge a long screwdriver across the pully on 2 of the bolts. then loosen the others but not all the way out. turn and repeat

Screw driver is good but if you don't want to scratch up your old pulley (or the new one) wrap it in black tape first.
