I read on one of these threads about using the auto gear and manual pinion to achieve the RX 4.30 ratios.

could not find the thread though...if this is possible and which gear to use.

Maybe the 4.10 pinion and 3.9 main gear?

I will have both and was wondering.

I dont think so as the gear decieds what the ratio it is.

 

Ring & Pinion gears are matched sets I do not belive they can be intermixed.
