Installed new gauge pod (center speaker location)

I had to take the 3 gauges off the driver side a pillar. (Pain in the ***!!!) Lengthen the wires to the gauges. (Pain in the ***!!!) Recover the A-pillar with new black vinyl because the old one had about 10 holes in it. (pain in the ***!!!) After about 4 hours of work...it was well worth it.

The 2 pods from the A-pillar are for sale...

Check it out...

That looks really good. Scrub has a dual speaker pod going in that looks alright, but, he's putting his boost gauge in the steering column pod. I didn't like that because it covers up the right bottom quarter of the tach. I think I'll go with a 3 or 4 gauge pod in the speaker and avoid drilling the A pillar. If I need more than that, I'll put a couple in the empty DIN compartment. Looks really good.

Looks good I got the quad pod, but putting others on the A-pillar. How well does yours stay in place?

yea i really like how that matches the interior well and gives it a very stock look compared to the a-pillar guages... i'm also just not a huge fan of a-pillar guages cause every ricer has about 5 of them lined up there anyways... it's nice to see something clean and different

(sidenote: dave, your y-pipe is the devil)

Hey, fastrx7man, where did you order this pod from? I'd like to get one of these or maybe a quad pod. Your's seems to come farther forward than the dual pods I've seen.

man that looks sweet. I don't have a problem with a-pillar pods as long as they have function. I don't worry too much what ricers have because most of their cars aren't even turbo or supercharged so if they have 10,000 gauges in their car what function could those have?
