RX7 Transmission Question

Does Mazda still sell the NEW transmission for a 3rd gen? If no one knows I will call and ask them tomorrow.

Also Will a 6 Speed trans for a rx8 fit up to a 3rd Gen?

The 6speed is suppose to be much weaker and a few months ago someone was claiming to have sourced the last brand new 3rd Gen transmission in the US. But it's always worth a call.

I will call for sure. I am about to sell one with 2000 miles for 1300 tomorrow and if that is the case then maybe the resale value just went up! If anyone else knows more about this please let me know. Thanks

I bought the last new OEM FD transmission mazda sold. You can now only buy Remanufactured Rx-7 transmissions. The remans are almost the same price as the new ones.
