Rx7 transmission please help (very ticked off)

A while ago my transmission in my car was making a shink, shink, shink, shink, noise and alot of people thought it was the throw-out bearing but I thought it was the tranny. It turns out it was the tranny. I know this because it went out on me a couple months later. I looked and looked for a used tanny and finally found one for 750 with 19000 thousand miles on it. I got there word that everthing was perfect on it. After showing some more people the tranny I was convinced they weren't ripping me off. So I had it installed finally and it was perfect. No shink, shink noise or nothing and the clutch didn't even rattle. Now after having the transmission in for a week of so the same noise is coming back and I am furious. I am so f***** pissed because I coudn't wait to get it on the road again and now Its doing the same thing. The noise now is not as loud as it was in the other tranny, but when it first started making the noise in the other tranny it wasn't that loud either. I was wondering if anyone gone through the same or similer problem and how did you fix it. I think you can feel my anger so if you know anything about how to fix this problem I will greatly thank you for it.

Do you still have the old transmission? That would be where I would look for an indication of what is causing this sound.

maybe you did something so that you messed up 2 trannys. don't put your feelings off on an inanimate object. What's more likely? That you had two bunk tranny's or you don't know how to drive?

I agree... I would take apart/inspect the old tranny... figure out what is making the noise.

when u put mated the motor to the tranny did everything pop in easily or did you hsve to force it. also did you replace the pilot bearing cause that could be some of your problem

chill out guys...

I had the same problem with my fc. The noise sounded like metal clapping or something. I replaced the tranny, it still did it.

It turned out to be the flywheel nut. It wasn't at the certain torque that it needed to be. I was able to loosen the huge nut with just the rench. That nut is suppose to be 360lb of tq.
So I took off the flywheel, inspect it, and clutch. Put it back on, tighted the nut like hell, with friend helping, using a huge bar. The noise is no longer there.

Now this can happen on any car, this didnt happen because the car is old(nut getting loose). I just had the engine rebuilt.

You might want to look into that. Just my .50$

Floman,
Maybe if you could provide alittle more info for these guys. From your original post it sounds like you had someone install the transmission for you. Did they use the same clutch and PP? New pilot bearing? Was the Flywheel removed or resurfaced? Does the sound change in volumn or tempo and if so, with the speed of the engine or transmission? I'm not sure what else to ask, but the more information you can give the better your responses are likely to be.
