Question Rx7 are Sexy?

I just signed up and am about to either buy an Rx7 , Supra or a 240sx ( do silvia stuff ).

Now ive been browsing board but cant find THAT many pics. Im more into looks now that heat has come down alot on racing. Im going to get a TT though.

What im asking is post the sekziest pictures of rx7's you have. I was looking at the photo gallary for 6 mins then came back and it was down

Post some nice RX7 please and thanks...

P.S Im leaning toward RX7 because its cheaper then the Supra... Easier to find a stock one and I really like the looks.... handeling ect...

If you're prepared to spend as much time and more money on your rx7 than you would on a girlfriend, go for it! I've driven all 3 cars that you're looking at, and now own a 94 touring... There's no car as well balanced in all aspects as a 3rd gen rx7 for under $50k.

If you want raw power, get a supra.. But if you want a classy ride that'll get attention without having to be riced and give you stellar performance across the board... RX7 all the way!

Nah see the key is that girls think the car's sexy. That's what really matters anyway, right? Though my heart does beat a little quicker whenever I look at my FD... mmmm... umm anyway..

A girl I'm dating says she wants to marry my car. I told her it was ok as long as I could be on top, lol.

Go put a body kit on a honda. If all you care about is looks Id suggest moving on to another car. I can tell you right now you dont even have a clue what your getting yourself into.

Why dont I have a clue what im getting into?

Put a kit on a honda?

Like I said im geared more towards preformance but whats that is now put to second. I rather throw a wings west kit on a rx7 then do speed mods. I used to be the other way but again its cause of the cops ect.... why go performance if im not gonna use it?

If you want to know my last car was a honda. 91 hatch with a swap ( which I did with my friend ) all mods done with me and a few friends. That was least from rice didnt even have rims. I am going to make alot of money in the next few months and am going to picking up a new car real soon ...Since my last car was a honda maybe I dont DESERVE to drive such a nice car like an rx7... sure it only ran 14.7 on stock tires ... but a few more mods and it would be keeping up to stock FDS....

I want something nice. Something I dont have to prove that is fast. I want something that looks good. All I asked is for some nice pictures of rx7. Again im leaning toward rx7 as well because its hard to find a good supra... atleast where im at.

I agree. If all you're into is looks, you'll be highly pissed when your first engine blows, you have to trace vacuum lines to find a boost problem, your MAP sensor goes out .

I highly suggest you don't look into getting an RX7 unless you have a TRUE passion for cars and are willing to put aside many hours a months tinkering with your car to get things right. Hope you make the right decision.

My advice is to make sure that money is in your bank account (not questioning if/how much/whatever) before picking an FD up, because this is one car that will make you POOR. Honda parts are peanuts compared to what we spend. Believe me.

Do some serious research before you take the plunge:

Steve Cirian's site that Mahjik mentioned
http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/
www.iluvmyrx7.com

and quite a few others. Best of luck.

they are all TT

How do you know if you can maintain this car?... If you can pull an engine, then get this car

If you want a car with a nearly bullet proof engine on stock boost or a bit more, get the supra!

Don't do the 240sx....

The FD and Supra are true sports cars...you're only fooling yourself with the 240.

I bought a 240sx as a beater...did the SR swap, FMIC, exhaust, 1 bar of boost and all the suspension goodies.....trust me it will never come close to what a FD is and what other people see the FD as.

Remember when you pull up with a modded FD its an FD.....when you pull up with a modded 240sx it is still a 240sx.

I never said you didnt deserve the car. If all you care about is looks why even bother with a performance car. Much less a performance car that is so fragile like the RX7? Like I said if all you want is looks, hell even if you just want to be cool for having a "high performance sports car" I would go look somewhere else. I can tell you this car isnt for you.

In the words of the incomparable Tina Turner:

"What's sex got to do with it? - it's a hand me down emotion".

I want raw ******* performance. Period. That's what
FD3s's are all about. That's all they ever HAVE been about.

I dont mean to flame but thats just ******* ignorant.Dont make me post the many mannnnyy videos od 240's hauling serious *** on the strip. Not to mention the videos of rx7's getting spanked by 240's.I own a rx7 and loved it to death but dont tell me a serious 240sx cant kick ***. .The top FD is the most beautiful i have ever seen
