Hey guys, theres a person selling their 93 rx7 for 7K....yea I know somethings gotta be up. Well there is..the person said the seal is broken? they said its gonna cost about 1200-1500 to fix it at the mazda dealership. I forgot to ask what the mileage is...CRAP! I'll ask later but anyway, even if it does have the seal broken should i still get it?

 

What seal?! An apex, side, o-ring? I would perform all sorts of tests, i.e. compression, boost, etc. before I burn my monays.

 

I should ask what seal also =P but she did say it does run with no oil leaks, does that help in anyway? o another question, for the compression test what should the rotary read?

 

And get your own prices - find out exactly what is wrong, and who diagnosed it. There are tons of seals in this car, including many in the engine which require $$ rebuilds.
