rhdjapan.com has really good prices, and even though its shipped from japan it is still just as fast as the shipping in the states check it out!

Does it have to be a Mazda catalytic converter or can it be an aftermarket unit?

I suggest you replace it with an aftermarket cat. They generally run around 300-600 new, not to mention you'll get a few extra HP out of it.
