RX7 Cooling help
hi everybody just signed up today,
im having problems with my 1997 RX7 import its only done 16,000 miles and its been a Xfeature car. The problem im having is i have to top up the water every day before i drive it or the cooling light and alarm comes on engine runs fine doesnt smoke at all. the car doesnt leave any water marks on the floor from a possible crack in the radiator or intercooler cant see any holes in the expansion tank or any cracks in the hoses. has any one have a RX7 with failure of engine internal water seals? so i know what signs to look for gonna try a pressure test on the weekend.
but if any one else has any other ideas please please write back
cheers lads

You may have air in the system, which is slowly reaching the AST, and filler neck. Perform the following when the engine is cold.
Remove the throttle body (TB) coolant line (back side of TB). This will allow air to escape. Remove both coolant filler caps. Fill the AST slowly. Wait for it to go down, and then fill until it stays full. Then slowly fill at the filler neck, until it stays full. Keep an eye on the TB coolant line while filling. If coolant starts coming out, put it back on.
If you have no leak, this should get rid of almost all of the air in your system.
