skyline is fast.... i raced one before...dont really know what his modification was. But it was damn fast. Pull 2 cars ahead of me from start and i never can catch up.

my mod is = HKS f/m intercooler, ARC radiator,PFC+commander, Straight-through pipe,HKS induction, trust downpipe, ACT heavy-duty clutch, HKS fuel pump, ported wastegate.

I think the Skyline would edge out the 7 on this one.. oh yea i would have to say predator over alien.. and terminator over robocop

for the record, my friend has an R32 GTR. Compared to my FD it's much much easier to drive and control, power is similar too. His mods include straight pipe and exhaust and hks coilovers. Of course compared to my car, mine is faster and handles better. Through the turns, the RX7 is much much lighter and has an advantage there. However the skyline is easier to drive and more predictable due to it's 4wd. The skyline is a very nice car but it's too heavy for my taste. I would still rather have an FD

 

I would say a stock GTR would anytime beat a STOCK RX7.. acually, it depends on which model you compare the RX7 to. I can say that the "lousiest" or lowest range GTR produces close to 250hp..

All GTR's produce the same power - the lesser ones arent GTRs but GTSs or GTS-Ts. Not the same car at all.

Ive had the honour to own 4 FDs and 1 R32 GTR (still got it), and i only sold my last FD last week so im speaking from experience.

The R32 is the quickest GTR in stock form period. On paper it would be about 1/2 car length ahead on the standing quarter over a stock FD.

On a track its a different story - the FD is superior in its balance through the corners. The Skyline tends to power oversteer on exits unless you exit slower than the FD.

This is with STOCK cars.
My FD was about 300hp - my skyline is now about 700hp (twin trust TD06, 2.7 stroker, big injectors blah blah) so its not comparable in the slightest anymore. Good fun though :-)

skylines are fast. especially the r32 and 34.
but stock for stock in any environment the 7th gen fdrx7 will be ahead. not by much, but nevertheless ahead.
7th gen is not a typo. there are acutally 7 generations within the 3rd gen rx7 model. i was referring to the most recent, which happens to be fastest overall as compared to the previous generations stock.

 

I love both cars, however I have a 94 rx. I love drag racing it and have about 360 hp with the usual mods and stock turbos.

With a little tweaking and a few mods... a Skyline can yeild probally around to 600 - 650 with it's stock turbos.

Our cars will kick the Skylines on most race courses.
But with there all wheel drive systems we will get kicked
street tire vs street tire. (Badly too)they launch like a
leep frogs off the line.

I have a Video from Japan with quite a tons of them on street tire doing 9's in the 1/4 mile at stupid mph's. I doubt our 7's can match that.

Yes... I do know about these guys. But I said street tire... not Drag radials or Drag slicks.

Steve and Ari use Mickey Thompson Et streets.
Ray uses full drag slicks.

Excellent contribution Chris, finally someone who owns both! Wish I was in your shoes.. I was to understand that the R32 is a quite different car from the 33 and 34, not so much in the power output (which is fairly similar coming from the same powerplant).. and not even in the weight difference which is significant and accounts for the faster acceleration of the R32. But more in the way that power is transferred to the front wheels, which explains the power on oversteer you get with the R32. The R33 and 34 are closer to a true 4WD car because they are quicker to transfer torque to the front wheels are they not?.. the R32 sounds like it would be more fun to drive though!

Well, which Alien ... the one(s) from the first two or Mother Alien or the one from Alien 3 or the Sigourney Weaver-hybrid alien? And which Predator ... the Arnie one or the Danny Glover one (first one was more of a badass IMO)? Or I could be more exclusive ... Predator from Batman vs. Predator, Magnus vs. Predator and/or Aliens vs. Predator (the miniseries)?

Theres a video of the two racing in Japan, both stock. I have it, but don't know where it is exactly, but I think the 7 wins. Goto Kazaa and download RX7 vs. Skyline (don't get the Intial D video though).

 

I have a video of 2 nsx, 2 evo's 5, 2 skylines gtr's, and 1 rx7 racing is tskuba race and rx7 beat all of them. None of the cars could get to seven.

 

First of all the GT-R is available in the US via MotoRex. They are 100% street legal.

The R32 is the quickest of the GT-R...which also will be replacing my FD since it got stolen.

Stock Vs Stock the GTR since it has a better launch...but as far as modified...you can never say. It is easier to make a GTR hit flat 12's I know that for a fact but when you dump alot of money in to either cars well you never know.

Ok also is this Aliens or just one alien Vs Predator? If it is one on one I think Predetor cuz it has alot of toys and it's smart....while aliens are more animal and not as intelligent.
