RX-7 Type RZ

I searched the forum for this topic, but it was not allowing me to use the "RZ" as it was below the three word minimum. After searching for a few other topics I decided to turn to you all.

I am looking for the Specs of the J-spec RX-7 Type RZ. What exactly is different between the RZ and the RS and the recently released Bathurst Type R. Upgraded Suspension? Turbos? Interior? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

wheels

It has 17x8F & 17.8.5R with 235/40-17 & 255/40-17. I thought it said they were made by BBS but would have to read it again to confirm.

yep. powdercoated 17" BBS. Bilstein shocks, Nardi steering wheel, Recaro racing seats. It also might have a different differential, but im not sure on that one. http://www.mazda.co.jp/history/Archi...rx7.200010/rz/

I think they're BBS RC's, but you should probably talk to www.corksport.com to see if you can import the real deal. for the record, there are no differences in body style between the RZ and RS as well as the Type R Bathurst. the RZ has a special white color; thats pretty much it.

Those are light weight wheels. They are BBS but special make for FD.

Hard to answer when no specific year RZ model is mentioned. Most RZ models were actually black instead of white. People tend to only think of the limited edition(175 made) 2000 RZ model that came only in white versus the standard RZ models that were available from 92-98. Here's a pic of the first RZ model from 92:

And another from a later, 98 RZ model:

Finally, the LE 2000 RZ:
