hmm prepare for some harsh comments i assume, i will say use the search tool and read the new owner FAQ, almost all you need to know is in there.

also you have alot of learning to do. welcome.

I would first take you car to a rotary mechanic and ask him do a check on your car and find what he can. It usually doesnt take that long and its worth having someone with knowledge checking out the new ride and seeing what problems it has.

Not to steer off topic, but the hole in the stock ic on top of the duct...what is suppose to go there? i took the metal plate the the previous owner fabricated on there and used it to make a bracket, and just the other day i learned i don't have the correct piping for my SMIC so i have to use the stock IC until I can get new piping and i need to plug that hole back up. i know it will be easy to cover up, but just was curious what orginally was covering that hole.

And yes, i hope you aren't running without any filters because you suck the wrong item in there, and you can kiss the motor good bye.
If you have a rotor mech. in your area, it would be in your best interest to let them check it out to see what all it needs so you know where you stand.

Doesn't look that bad. The Upper Intake Manifold looks clean as a whistle but you never know the condition of the engine under there.

The wisest thing to do is take it to the rotor mechanic and spend the $$$ to get it serviced and to iron out any problems. Get it back to square 1 before anything else.

They look like Apexi intake's without the filters so don't go driving around with them on!

It's just a little plastic cover. No use stock...I think? You can also pull it off to use a Racing Beat air duct with a stock intake.

there is a covering that covers the stock intake and that duct like a finisher, but that finisher also has a duct inside that takes fresh air from that area to the intake box , but u dont have yhe stock intake box so you should jus cover the holes......... and get that replcement filter quick , but dont waste your time with a stock intake box because it is very ineficient and so is your stock intercoolers , dose stock intake box and there piping are like paracites in your engine bay.........so good lock and your next problems should be overheating as usual??????

It has a major impact on the car. If that hole is there then virtually NO air is going through the intercooler. That's a BAD THING if you get into boost, espescially in the Texas heat. Cover up the hole ASAP or you risk blowing your engine.

That's a really bad intake, by the way...all it is doing is pulling hot air in from the back of the radiator, hastening the demise of your engine.

As to your vibration issue.....

What happens if you put the car in neutral and increase the RPMs just sitting in the driveway not moving? Does it vibrate?

What if you do the same with the clutch depressed?
