So let me guess... all this animosity was based solely on the fact that you "sort of" know Mike, but if it had been anyone else, it would have been OK to tell him to search like hundreds of other newbies are told monthly?

How about you not let me know period? And in turn, I'll let you know when I care I'm not posting for you. As much as you'd like to think so Jim, you are not THE forum. You'll never learn to let go of things, will you?

I have them and the quality is great. They look and feel like they'll last a really long time.

Why don't you go back to trying to act tough, because that was more amusing. The self-importance thing just falls flat when you try to do it.

Oh good heavens... Yes, the search feature is still not 100%. The indexes were being built, but with the size of the database it takes days for it to complete. Right now the search function basically brings back really old results or really new ones. It's still missing quite a bit in the middle.

They are trying to fix the problems, but it takes time.

As for the aluminum door sills, they do scratch up pretty bad unless you don't drive the car that often. I ended up painting mine black (previous owner put them on the car).

Actually, that was the first thing I tried was to post a link to the search results. When I found that it didn't work, I tried it on two other computers with the same result. I then posted that there were problems with the search and that it wasn't working.

There was no animosity until you started in with your arrogant / know-it all attitude.

How does it look when it's painted? Does it scratch easily?

I used Krylon Acrylic Clear Coat which has protected it for over 2 years (not the Satin finish, but the same type of stuff). I'll see if I can dig up a few pictures. If not, I'll snap some tomorrow.

Jim, get off of your high horse. You are a pompous, chauvanistic *******. Who died and made you god?

I am really sick of your poor attitude, if you have issues to work out in your life then I suggest you seek help outside of bashing people on the forum that you somehow feel you are superior to.

For how old you are you act like a 10 year old. It is evident to me that you have a superiority complex that hides your lack of self esteem. Take your anger out elsewhere please.
