Where is the best place to buy the metal Mazda door sills that have RX 7 etched in them?

 

The same place that anyone who bothered to search on "lowest prices" and limit the search area to the 3rd Generation Specific forum would find...

Mike, try Ray Crowe @ Malloy Mazda. 1-888-533-3400. Oh and FWIW, I have the sills on my FD, and I may very well go back to the stockers. The aluminum door sills are real thin and scratch & scuff real easily, making them look not so good...

 

yeah mine are pretty scuffed up... i wonder how well sanding and rebuffing them would work?

 

Mine look good after 3 years installed... i always hated those black squeeky pieces of ****.

I like Jim's even more without the gold RX-7 branding.

 

Except for the fact that the search feature isn't working right now.

As far as longevity, I've had mine on the car for several years and they have no scratches as of yet. Also, they look great on a black car.

 

Bullshit. I used it immediately before making that post and turned up several threads listing Malloy Mazda.

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /search.php.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

 

Then that's your problem, not mine. Works fine for me. Multiple times.

 

Back off Jim, the search has been spotty for a couple of weeks. The forum has been in general, with a large percentage of the forum experiencing proxy errors and such.

 

Fortunately, it's not my problem. It is the server, so go search off.

 

And again... guess the search feature must be working after all.

 

I get the same proxy error too.

Try Ebay. I've seen a few sets of those door sills there.

 

"Spotty" does not mean "not working". When at first you don't succeed, try, try again...

 

Since it seems to be working fine for me, is there anything you'd like me to search on for you while I'm at it? How about "how not to stick your ******* nose where it doesn't belong and get it bitten right the **** off?"

My response was 100% accurate, and moreover, my not-so-subtle hint to use the search feature (and exactly how to do it) would have given "Mike M" the ability to search for himself in the future. Instead, Ramy hands him the answer, enabling him not to have to expend even the slightest amount of effort to help himself, and you start whining about the search feature not working... when it obviously does.
