Exclamation RX-7 Computer Virus!!! BEWARE!

I want to alert the RX-7 community to an insidious virus which seems to affect websites selling and/or manufacturing performance parts for RX-7’s! The symptoms are: you can send and receive e-mail to friends and family without difficulty; you can send and receive e-mail to clients and customers without difficulty; you can even receive huge amounts of spam without difficulty. But whenever you e-mail a purveyor of RX-7 performance parts with a question to help you make a purchase decision, either your e-mails, or their responses, are mysteriously lost in cyberspace!!! Sites I have personally found to be so infected include Pettit, M2, The RX-7 Store and Sparco. PFS has avoided this scourge by having no e-mail address posted on their site (little did I know at the time that this was actually a plus!). There is hope however, one site which must have effective virus protection is Mazdaformance, because they seem to answer every e-mail, and quickly! We can only hope that they are willing to share this virus protection with other sites because otherwise, those of us with money to spend on tuning our RX-7’s will be forced to find other ways to spend it! This has been a public service announcement.

guys the worm virus is out there. go to http://housecall.antivirus.com/
this is an internet based virus scanner. it is pretty good. the only way the worm virus can be stopped (if you have it) is to reformat your hard drive. i just did and i think that everybody should at least check it out. as far as the rx-7 question virus goes. i havent had anyproblems out of rx7store.net or bnrsupercars.com infact they seem to have the best "callback" time i have come across. thanks guys. . . and get rid of this damn virus. . . and install a damn virus scanner. . . damnit.

we got rid of it without reformating the hard drive. You just have to get into Regedit like it says and delete all the files that have anything to do with it..

I think I'll add AEMPOWER.COM.

E-mailed them three times in the last three weeks.

NO RESPONSE.

If they havent got rid of that worm yet... They are screwed... Its really not that hard if you, check out of Mcafee, Norton, or any other places like that, they tell you what you got to do.
Just for info, the company you e-mail will probably get your e-mail, its just the mail is all scrambled and has another virus attached to it, so they cant open it.. If they do add another 10 worms in their computer...

The virus doesnt move like that, he would have to send it to you intentionaly... You wont get an e-mail due to even if he does write you, his messages will just get returned to him, because the virus mumbles up the address, so nothing goes out at all. Also only somethings come in, but usually you cant even read them..
