search and read the FAQ's. i'll be the first to post it and leave it at that. This *may* stop the hyenas from tearing you apart. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread to watch it all unfold

have a look in the stickys there is heeps of info in there.
93-95 series 6, 96-98 series 7, 99-2002 series 8
series 6 is the first one that came out and was sold around the world, then the series 7, the usa mis out on that, but it has better ecu, pipeing in the engine bay was change from plastic to metal, and the rear lights are different, and has 10hp more than the series 6, then the series 8 has had the ecu improved again, new front bumper, beter flowing tubros, i think that went up another 10hp as well.
so if you can aford a series 8 i would get that. i have a series 7 and love it.
you will find most people on here have a series 6 as the usa didnt get the newer 7s
and use the seach button as there is heeps of info on this site, any thing you want to ask has most proberly being cover befour.

good luck with finding a 7.

96-02 will cost you a arm and a leg to register in the US. D1rx7 was correct with most of the info but the power rating was 265 but on a select few of the 99-02 had 280hp.

But take a look at thi site and it will tell you every thing about the 93-02 rx7's
