Runs Hot, boosts weird!
Runs Hot, boosts weird!
Gimme your opinions on these issues.
Runs at about 110'C unless I switch the fans on High, then it settles in the 80-90+ range. exhaust temps never see higher than 700'c and thats midrange rpms on the highway accelerating (is that normal - check mods)
Boost pattern is inconsistent, sometimes I'll push the throttle and boost goes to about 5 psi full throttle - no power, I'll let off and go again and it will not only boost faster and higher (up to 10) but there is ample power. SOmeone who rode with me said they saw a 10 - 5 - 12 boost pattern a few times.
Mods:
Guages - boost mounted UIM next to booster vacuum source, exhaust - 6 inches down from turbos on DP, coolant under fill neck
front mount intercooler (type - m greddy)
Koyo radiator (no ducting - although I made some makeshift ducting and temps didnt alter).
Running a 65-35 water-coolant mix
apexi intakes
DP and catback (stock cat)
Pettit AST
Fan Switch Mod
Stock ECU
Walbro 255 pump
Silicon hose job (removed useless junk)
