What boost level are you running now?
What does your iginition setup look like?
And why are you tuned in the 10's?

When I had mine tuned I was told it wasn't safe to run over 14psi boost on pump gas. I would deffinatly at least run water and lean it out some with that boost level, it would be safer that just pump gas

From my experience, 20psi without AI is dangerous. Your "tuner" is using fuel and rich afr's for cooling and detonation suppression. 12:1 at 15psi would likely make the same power, be cleaner and run better. From there, a simpe 150cc shot of 50/50 wont over richen your mixture.

water is a better knock suppressor than even the best alcohol. basics: AI based for power versus reliability use either strictly alcohol or a 49/51 blend with water. for AI based on reliability use 100% water.

It's fine to run without specifically tuning for water (as long as you don't overdo it), but being in the 10's is too rich. But I wouldn't go past 16 on pump by itself. I'd tune to 16psi on pump, and then turn the water on and tune the rest of the way up.

Running at full boost and AFR at 11.5 is plenty safe, you are leaving a lot of power on the table, and being too rich isn't a good thing either.

Tuning with water off and going past 16psi is risky, even if the AFR's are under 11. Are you logging your egt's? going into the high teens without watching EGT is risky as hell. Your AFR can be fine, but you can still ruin the engine.

keep in mind down south they have 93AKI which is good for about 22-23psi max so 20psi is about as high as you should push with that pump fuel and is bordering into auto ignition area.

don't quote me though, check the pumps and make sure.
