Running lights all died!

I was driving around and noticed my shifter was loose after a track day so I pull over, turn the car off and pulled the center console that goes around the shifter off. Sure enough there was a loose bolt. I started the car up turn on the running lights by twisting the light stalk to the 2nd position before headlights. All my running lights including dash lights wont come on! The headlights/brake/signals all work. So I checked the 3 fuse/relay boxes, one by the clutch 2 in the engine bay and they are all fine..... Any ideas what else could be the cause? I tried wiggling wires in the shifter area afterwards didnt' do anything tho

I recently had the same thing happen, except I *was* blowing the 15A fuse in the footwell..

The problem for me was that there was a short somewhere behind the dash, in/around the dimmer switch. I never ended up getting the issue completely resolved, just a fix that should hold it until I can get back to the states and, no ****, rip the dash apart to redo the wiring properly (shop still charged me 120 pounds for labor and tax's  )

Any pictures or diagrams of this TNS relay? I checked all the yellow/green/pink ones with a ohm meter and they are all good... The ones with the lil clear cover on top. Are those the relays?

I had the same EXACT problem and one of the fuses blew above the footrest, replaced the fuse and all was back to normal. Not sure why the fuse blew, I didnt do anything differently, just randomly went out. Hope this helps.

you may have dislodged an earth connection causing the fuse to blow, check the bolt in the drivers footwell where some attach ?

the dimmer switch has a tendency to short on itself, with that itll blow the fuse that controls the running lights, or if youve installed any aftermarket audio or video equipment, that can also do the same thing.

my buddy izzy installed a full in car computer into his FD along with an 8 inch LCD touch screen and he taped up three wires and they shorted on him.

he lost all lights except for his headlights about, an hour from where he lives at 11 pm. he got pulled over 4 times for it on his way home xD
