Running Lean Question..

I have the bonez high flow cat and DP combo, also the Greddy PE (power extreme) catback exhaust. And i was woundering, if i bought an intake now without any fuel upgrades, how much would it cause my car to run lean? Ive read several posts about this, and everyones opinions are different, only thing is, is most people already had a midpipe. But thats not the issue in my case. Should i go with a bigger fuel pump first, then a Wideband then intake or what? Or would it be safe to go ahead and buy an intake system?

with just an intake and full exhaust you should be fine, anything more though (like if you got a boost controller and upped the boost or got an aftermarket ic) and I would start looking into an ecu and fuel system.

Very first, I would consider an upgraded fuel pump. For the sum of about $100 a Walbro is a cheap insurance. Once you start approaching 300 WHP and have a habit of taking your car to redline, even at only 10 psi boost, your stock fuel pump may not be enough. Don't ask me how I've found out... cost me a LOT more than the price of the new Walbro pump!

Wideband should be a close second. It is always nice to have the ability to check your AFRs in instantaneous mode to see various changes in equipment performance as well as AFR changes due to ambient temperatures. I use the AEM UEGO and it works very well. Cost was $250, including O2 sensor, gauge and bung fitting.

I consider both as cheap insurances and would not go without them.
