RPM ?'s

I currently have a '91 NA, but I have been looking into getting an FD for some time now. I would like to know what kind of RPM's could be pushed safely with the basic mods(ie.. DP, MP, intake, IC, seals, ect.) and possibly a street port. Also, does the 3rd gen have a rev lmiter, if so, is it easy to remove/bypass?

Consensus seems to be to keep it below 8K RPMs to be safe. Dipping in once in a while might be okay though. I think there is a rev limiter w/ the stock ECU, but i wouldn't really know....never had one.
