how do i replace it? im assuming the part comes with the connector with some extra wire and then i just solder it back into place? does this mean im running a 89-91 fc water pump?
Disconnect the battery. IIRC, remove the cross-over pipe, intake pipe from the IC and alternator to access it. It is identical in every way to the stock thermoswitch, with the exception that it's threshold temp to turn the fans on is 95 C. vs. the stock threshold of 108 C. But it does NOT come with a connector. You will need the original one.
