Rotor dents

I bought a rotor from a forum member on here and when I started cleaning it I noticed dents. He never told me anything about these dents. So looking at the picture is this rotor usable at all?

for door stops or bookends!

I don't think that's useable.

I'm surprised someone would sell that to you without informing you about those.

This is completely unacceptable.

We had better not hear that he's blaming it on "damage in shipping".

I hope he does the right thing and pays you back, and anythign he charged you to ship that crap. If he wants it back, he'd better be prepared to pay YOU to ship it to him.

Not that he would want it.

Cool, glad you got it resolved.

I read his FS post, did he just send you the wrong rotor?

No he said he thought since the dents were on the compression side it wouldnt affect anything.

Those dents will effect your compression ratio on that face. I still can't believe he asked for $130.00 knowing the rotor was damaged.

Incorrect. Where did you come by that info?

Those dents are a result of severe detonation.

I clearly know nothing and have never seen anything, I stand corrected.
