Rotary Tech! Good buy? Bad Buy? Potential RX7 owner

Good buy? Bad buy? Is it worth the time and money? And how much? $8700.

not enough information to tell you.

If the shop couldn't get it running, then the motor is probably fubar. You can find a good motor for $2500 and have a shop put it in and fix other issue for $2000. The car looks clean, so I don't think its a horrible deal.

Although I do not like tan door panels at all, nor those rims. Hehe, so i wouldn't buy it.

considering that I got a pretty min stock and running VR Touring for $9500, I would say it's not the greatest deal.

Personally I would scour our classifieds and find something on there. I've seen some pretty good prices lately.

The engine may not be blown, but since they can't give compression numbers I would stay away.

IMO that's too much money for a non-running car.

You have no idea why it isn't running, or what it will take to make it so.

A couple years ago this might have been an OK price, but lately the price of everything is taking a beating.

I recently saw a running, well maintained (and stock) VR FD go in the Portland OR area for $8900.
