"rich mans" non seqt. manifold

Ok I just got my turbo manifold today in the mail. It appears on the flange to the block for I belive the rear rotor. There is a hole under the opening for the exhuast port. Looks like a pipe goin into the manifold ...

Can anyone tell me why it there??

That's the EGR pipe. You can either grind it off or track down a JDM manifold that doesn't have that pipe at all.

FYI, all the JDM manifolds don't have EGR (which is nice), not just the later manifolds.

U know man, When I was porting my turbos for non sequential i was wondering whether i should weld that hole shut. But i know that welding cast iron wouldn't last long so i am glad i didn't.

Hahahha... yea if my na intakes won't work ima end up trying to make TII manifolds work...its real close haven't had a chance to bolt em up yet.

Work has been pretty crazy.

And I just bought this manifold I really don't wanna have to buy another one.. It came with 2 solid gaskets for the manifold. So it looks like it would block it off.
