(riceboy, supra, hot sex) Primary turbo inlet hose (riceboy, supra, hot sex)

I read on the turbo troubleshooting page that the primary turbo inlet hose (bottom intake hose) is prone to collapsing while under boost. If you squeeze it, it collapses because of the accordian-like design. Has anyone tried putting a spring inside this hose to prevent this? I know this is done with radiator hoses for the same reason so I don't see why it wouldn't work with this, although I would hate for part of the spring to come loose and go into the turbos/motor. Do they make an aftermarket replacement for this hose? I don't know if I'm having any problems with this hose, but I would like to bulletproof my turbo system as much as possible rather than deal with the problems as they happen. Any ideas?
