Map sensor or TPS no work.
Might want to replace the 02 sensor while you're at it.

the map sensor is on the firewall behind the throttle body. Should have a rubber hose and a vapor filter attached.

This will help you immensely:

How long does it idle great, and whats the idle rpm? Also what do you mean when you say press the gas? Immediately sputters? Sputters at 3000rpm? 6000 rpm?

Fill us in with more details if you can.

Replace gas, Make sure TPS is dialed in. Double tap the engine bay and look for anything unplugged or missing.

sat for 11 years- already replaced the gas with a cleaner and octane booster

so when i pressed very lightly on the gas maybe 1/8 down go to 4k and start to spudder and cut out

IF I press 1/4 down or more like 1/2 or to the floor it immedietaly spudders out wanting to die.

looked really well in the engine bay nothing is unplugged . dont know if anything is missing first rotary

if all it needs is a map sensor hose, you should go punch the PO in the nether region for neglecting a rarer sports car.

There is a fuel temperature thermosensor on a stock FD. Its in the secondary fuel rail.

Anyhoo, as far as the sputtering, maybe the car is in limp mode. Reset it and see?

Sometimes when I don't mow my grass its like *I* find an FD forgotten in a field. Of course its just MY FD but oh well.

If its in Limp mode it wont just die, it just wont let you WOT past 4k, you can easy slowly past 4k in lower gears but it will not let you go past 4k if you are cruising on the highway.
